CRAIG'S EYEING LOAN BID FOR LEEBy Euan Mcarthur DUNDEE UNITED are hot on the trail of young Hearts star Lee Wallace. Boss Craig Brewster is a big fan of the highly-rated 18-year-old Jambos defender. Wallace first shot to prominence when he made a scintillating debut for Hearts in a 3-1 Scottish Cup Cup win over Kilmarnock at Rugby Park two season's ago. But since then he's found himself second choice left-back at Tynecastle behind Greek international Takis Fyssas, who has made that spot his own. Brewster is trying to bolster his left-sided options with fans' favourite Charlie Mulgrew having returned to Celtic following his successful loan spell on Tayside. Wallace fits the bill and the teenager is on the player/ manager's summer shopping list with a view to bringing him on loan for next season. Brewster, who is currently on holiday in Greece, last night confirmed their interest in Wallace. He said: "He's one who is on the list so we'll just need to wait and see what happens."
