GEORGE IN COMEBACKBy Brian Li Ron I Political Editor FORMER MP George Foulkes plans a return to politics at next year's Holyrood elections. Lord Foulkes, who stepped down as an MP at the last election, will stand as a Labour candidate in Lothian. He said: "I am excited about the chance to fight another election." Foulkes, Minister of State for Scotland until May 2002, was an MP from 1979 to 2005. He was also chairman of Hearts Football Club until falling out with the club's owner Vladimir Romanov. Former Deputy Justice Minister Richard Simpson also plans to return to Holyrood by standing in Mid Scotland and Fife. He resigned after calling striking firemen "fascist b*****ds".
