VLAD'S TITLE VOWRomanov lets rip as Hearts celebrate cup win By Gary Ralston VLADIMIR ROMANOV has vowed to destroy the parasites ruining his club and land the title for Hearts next season. The Jambos owner went on the attack yesterday as 200,000 fans celebrated Hearts' Scottish Cup win on the streets of Edinburgh. In a wide-ranging outburst, he accused everyone from agents, football authorities, the media, referees and even some of his own top-team stars of trying to do him down in the last 10 months. Scotland defender Andy Webster and his advisor Charlie Duddy were again blamed while Rudi Skacel was told he would be joining a lesser light if he left. Romanov, who warned all his enemies they are doomed to failure, said: "My main goal is to build a team that plays great football and to make sure there are no parasites who feed from this club. If this happens we'll be champions. "Who are these parasites? They have two legs, two arms, empty heads and know only one word - money."  Taken from the Daily Record |
