Millwall 2 Hearts 3

Two superbly-taken free-kicks from Craig Thomson coupled with an Eggert Jonsson penalty was enough to overcome a stubborn Millwall side who honoured talisman Neil Harris in his testimonial with a resilient display that so nearly brought victory.
Jonsson's early spot-kick, after Paul Robinson flattened Lee Wallace in the area, sent David Forde the wrong way but Millwall regrouped and James Henry's whipped corner found Liam Trotter who guided a header passed Marian Kello four minutes before half-time.
Seizing the initiative after the break, The Lions went in search of a second goal and largely dominated spells for the opening minutes of the second period.
That pressure paid off on 55 minutes as Millwall put together the move of the match. Forde's long throw found Danny Schofield, his quick touch found Chopper in space who in turn played the ball to Trotter alone in the centre circle. His sprayed pass out wide right to Henry sent the recent signing scampering away down the flank.
Working some space, his delicious delivery found former Ipswich man Trotter, who had carried on his run into the box and met the flighted ball with another bullet header to put The Lions ahead.
Seemingly in control, Millwall were the architects of their own downfall as they gave away not one but two silly fouls in prime dead-ball territory.
When Robbo fouled David Templeton 25 yards out, up stepped Thomson to curl the ball over the wall and off the underside of the bar giving keeper Forde no chance.
The impressive Thomson repeated his trick 17 minutes later after sub Tamika Mkandawire felled Ryan McGowan. This time his set-piece hit the inside of the left-hand post before beating Forde.
Substitute Kevin Lisbie could have added a third for The Lions when he seized on a poor back-pass but even after rounding keeper Kello, the angles didn't help his chances and instead he played in Henry who struck at goal, only to see Darren Barr hack his effort off the line.
The only thing left to do was give Chopper the appreciation he deserves and, with a couple of minutes remaining, the bumper crowd of 8,376 rose to their feet to acknowledge Millwall's all-time record goalscorer, as he left the pitch to be replaced by Chris Hackett.
