Hearts Earn Point From Ibrox

Hearts ground out a 0-0 draw today with Rangers at Ibrox in Scotland's match of the day.

From what I can gather, the home side had the lion's share of possession and goalscoring opportunities, but were unable to find a way past deputy goalkeeper Steve Banks, who had Christophe Berra playing out of his skin in front of him.

Banks was playing once again because Craig Gordon was allegedly injured, but it would appear that both he and Paul Hartley did not play for other reasons. Many are suggesting that both could be about to leave the club within the next few days. One thing is for sure, the fans are being lied to once again.

A Hearts win today would have taken them to within touching distance of second-placed Rangers, but given the circumstances I think most of us would probably have taken a point. It keeps us only five points adrift and with everything to play for in the coming months.

But I have a feeling that we could be about to enter another turbulent week at Tynecastle......
