Hearts open to Beslija exitBy Mark Buckingham Valdas Ivanauskas has hinted club record signing Mirsad Beslija can leave Hearts. The Bosnian winger was signed from Genk in an £850,000 deal in January, but has failed to make an impact. Beslija made just five appearances for Hearts last season and has been linked with a move away from Tynecastle. Club Brugge and Lokeren are both reportedly keen to take the 27-year-old back to Belgium before the transfer deadline. Hearts boss Ivanauskas praised the wide man's ability, but suggested any offers for Beslija will be welcomed. "He is a good player, but if he has ambition to play regularly and good clubs come in, it will be good for him and good for everyone," said Ivanauskas. Beslija has returned to Bosnia as part of Hearts' squad for Wednesday's UEFA Champions League second qualifying round, second leg against Siroki Brijeg, with The Jambos leading 3-0. http://home.skysports.com |
