Pars snap up McKenzieDunfermline Athletic have signed goalkeeper Roddy McKenzie on a two-year contract from relegated Livingston. The 30-year-old former Hearts gloveman joins on a free transfer, ending a three-year stint with Livi.He told The Courier: "The attraction for me in coming to Dunfermline is that the move gets me back into the Premier League. "But it also offers the chance to work under Jim Leishman, who actually signed me for Livingston, only to leave two weeks later." The Pars also have Dutch keeper Dorus De Vries on trial at East End Park. The 25-year-old is a free agent after quitting Den Haag at the end of last season and his arrival is likely to spell the end of Bryn Halliwell's Pars career. from www.football.co.uk |
