HEARTS will prepare for their Champions League campaign with a friendly against fellow qualifiers Osasuna on July 19.

It takes place at Murrayfield, where the Jambos will play all their European games in the new season.

The Gorgie outfit go into their first qualifier a week after meeting the Spanish La Liga side and a club spokesman said: "We are delighted to have secured a heavyweight game as a warm-up.

"This will be a stern test for the team so early in the season and it will provide us with a good indication of the standard we will face as we hopefully progress in Europe.

"We are finalising our pricing package for the game. We want to attract a large crowd to back the team and, as such, we are looking at keeping ticket prices as competitive as possible."
