JULIEN MUST WAITSCOTTISH CUP FINAL POSTSCRIPT Gary Ralston HEARTS must tell Julien Brellier this week if they want him at the club next season. The midfielder signed a 12-month deal with an option for a further year when he arrived on a free transfer from Inter Milan last summer. The French midfielder has established himself as a fans' favourite at Tynecastle, but has yet to win over club owner Vladimir Romanov. Brellier, 23, is unhappy at the bit-part role he has played in recent weeks and left Scotland yesterday for a holiday in his home town Grenoble still uncertain about his future. The next seven days will be crucial with clubs waiting in the wings as Hearts consider their next move. Brellier's agent, Mauricio de Giorgis, said: "Hearts will have to tell us what they want to do this week. "It would be no problem to find Julien a new club as he's enjoyed a good championship in Scotland. "We have interest elsewhere but we must wait for Hearts to call so we can sit around the table and have discussions about the future. "Mr Romanov is the owner and therefore he is the man who calls the shots. "It's certain Julien will not be playing alone next season, but the correct way to conduct business is to speak with Hearts first." Taken from the Daily Record |
