JAN CAGEY ON FUTURECUP FINAL COUNTDOWN: 4 DAYS TOGO By Anthony Haggerty HEARTS striker Edgaras Jankauskas last night refused to reveal if he'll stayat Tynecastle next season. On the day after Rudi Skacel again stressed he doesn't know what the future holds for him, Lithuanian hitman Jankauskas added to the uncertainty engulfing Gorgie. Jankauskas, who is on a one-year loan from FBK Kaunas, will spearhead the Hearts attack at Hampden on Saturday as they take on Gretna. But the 31-year-old insists he doesn't know what awaits him after that, although he claims he has loved his time in Edinburgh Jankauskas said: "This season has been brilliant for me except for my injuries but we'll need to wait and see what happens next. "I am not thinking about next season yet as Hearts have one more game for this campaign. "However, there are a lot of possibilities. I like Edinburgh, I love the club and the fans are one of the best set of supporters I've seenin my life. "The fans have stayed positive even when the team were not winning and playing well yet they still support us. "In this day and age I find that a strange thing." Taken from the Daily Record |
