Fuller will not let refs cramp his styleHEARTS striker Ricardo Fuller has insisted he is not a cheat - and will not allow referees in Scotland to cramp his style. The Jamaican has been booked twice for diving this season - the latest card against Dunfermline at East End Park triggering a suspension which ruled him out of last weekend’s 3-3 draw at Kilmarnock. But Fuller has pleaded his innocence, claiming: "I know referees are on my case but I can assure them I do not dive, and have never dived to win a free-kick or a penalty. "My style of play is different from most other players - sometimes I do not know what I am going to do next. "I will not let some guy with a whistle spoil my career if he gets decisions wrong." Having served his ban, Fuller is now available for selection when Hearts return to action next weekend at Motherwell. Taken from the Scotsman |
