Fuller will not let refs cramp his styleHEARTS striker Ricardo Fuller has insisted he is not a cheat - and will not allow referees in Scotland to cramp his style. The Jamaican has been booked twice for diving this season - the latest card against Dunfermline at East End Park triggering a suspension which ruled him out of last weekend’s 3-3 draw at Kilmarnock. But Fuller has pleaded his innocence, claiming: "I know referees are on my case but I can assure them I do not dive, and have never dived to win a free-kick or a penalty. "My style of play is different from most other players - sometimes I do not know what I am going to do next. "I will not let some guy with a whistle spoil my career if he gets decisions wrong." Having served his ban, Fuller is now available for selection when Hearts return to action next weekend at Motherwell. ![]() Taken from the Scotsman |
