Formation | Old-fashioned 2-3-5 Just get the ball up to that forward line and watch them score barrowloads. Plenty of class and grit behind them to limit the opposition to a few scraps. |
Reasons For Picking Team | I went for my all-time best players in each area of
the park rather than picking a team to play a particular formation.
Once selected it was obvious that their sheer class would allow them to be played in a totally attacking mode that would excite the fans and scare the opposition witless. They might lose a couple of goals if Cruickie and big Craig were late out of the bookies and Dave Mackay and Hammy stuck in the pub but they would still score more than enough to ensure victory. |
