Leigh Griffiths and Andy Webster in Scotland squadMARK ATKINSON FORMER Hearts defender Andy Webster has kept his place in the Scotland squad for next month’s Teenage Cancer Trust International match against England, despite currently not having a club. Webster left the Jambos at the end of the season after his contract expired. Although Hearts were keen to keep the 31-year-old for the upcoming season, their plunge into administration ended any prospects of a new deal. Former Hibs striker Leigh Griffiths, who spent the past 18 months on loan to Hibs before rejoining his parent club Wolves for this season, has also been named in the 23-man squad. Griffiths scored 28 goals for the Hibees last season and made his debut for Gordon Strachan’s national selection while at Easter Road. Captain Scott Brown has been reinstated into the squad after missing the 1-0 World Cup qualifying win against Croatia through injury, as has veteran striker Kenny Miller, who also missed the trip to Zagreb. The Scottish Football Association also announced a four-year sponsorship extension with Vauxhall Motors ahead of the match at Wembley on Wednesday, August 14.
