Book on Busby

Drew Busby is the subject of a new book being released later this month with a percentage of proceeds going to Heart of Midlothian FC.

Officially published on July 22, "The Drew Busby Story" charts the career of the former 1970s Airdrie and Hearts icon, who later represented Morton and Queen of the South.

Once printing costs and overheads are met from a small volume of initial sales, the remaining profit will be donated to the clubs Drew represented during his senior career.

To ensure a maximum return, interested parties are asked to complete an order form and make a direct payment to the bank account set up for this. On the order form, the purchaser can state which club they wish the donation to be made to (Airdrie/Hearts/Morton/Queen of the South).

Said biographer Andrew Hoggan: "It is anticipated Hearts will be the popular choice as most of the book is about his days at Tynecastle and there is good information on Drew's affections for Hearts in more recent times."
