Director of Football John Murray has today donated a season ticket to the Big Hearts Big Ticket campaign.

The Hearts football chief is the latest high-profile name to support the campaign to buy season tickets in the club's hour of need following descent into administration, and donate them to Big Hearts.

Big Hearts is Hearts' official community charity which operates in the communities in which the club serves, developing a range of campaigns across charity, health and wellbeing, education and grassroots sport.

Every season ticket bought to support the club during this time, and donated to Big Hearts, will be tracked to show how it's been used to support community groups and charities.

John said: "I'm very proud to be the director of football at Hearts and at this very difficult time I wanted to show support to the communities who have done so much for us.

"Big Hearts has done some fantastic work over the last six years and I hope as the club grows again, so Big Hearts will continue to flourish."

Alan White, Big Hearts' chief executive added: "We're overwhelmed by the support of fans, ex-players and now staff who are supporting this campaign to bring something good out of an awful time for the club.

"We're hoping the future will be brighter, and Big Hearts intends to play a very big part of that."
