Hearts game called off

COWDENBEATH'S friendly fixture with Hearts has been called off.

The game was due to go ahead on July 23rd but club secretary Alex Anderson confirmed this week, "Unfortunately we have been informed that due to the situation at Tynecastle (with the administrators taking charge of the club), they have pulled out of the friendly we had arranged with them."

Cowdenbeath open their friendly programme with a game against Sheffield United next weekend (6th) at Central Park.

They play St johnstone the following Wednesday and Motherwell at home on the 20th.
