Peter's Big Heart

Former Hearts assistant manager Peter Houston has become the latest supporter to show he's got a Big Heart.

The former Tynecastle No. 2 today donated a season ticket to Big Hearts as part of the club's community charity's Big Hearts Big Ticket campaign.

After we revealed Danny Wilson kick-started the campaign, several former Hearts players have donated season tickets to support the club, which will be used for a major programme next season which will see community groups benefit from the opportunity to attend games in Gorgie.

They include Eamonn Bannon, Derek Ferguson, Scott Crabbe and Allan Preston amongst others.

"I'm absolutely happy to help both the club and Big Hearts," said Peter.

"I had many happy years at Hearts as assistant manager and coach and I have a lot of affection for the club.

"It's great that Big Hearts can make good on such a terrible situation, and ensure that groups will really benefit next season."

Supporters, who are able to, are encouraged to buy season tickets and donate them to the Big Hearts Big Ticket campaign, by simply dropping into the Ticket Centre.
