Locke: "We'll address problems"02.03.2013 Gary Locke was pleased with his side's second-half efforts in today's Clydesdale Bank Premier League defeat to Motherwell, but disappointed at the loss of two early goals. Goals in the first eight minutes from Michael Higdon and Nicky Law proved decisive and, despite a second half goal from John Sutton, consigned the Jambos to defeat. Speaking at his first post-match press conference, Gary revealed he was pleased with the effort his team showed, but that they needed to perform that way for the entire match. "We can be positive about the second half, but I said to the players we have to do that sort of thing for all 90 minutes," he said. Gary revealed he was most disappointed with how Hearts had started the match, after trying to drum into the squad how important a good start to the game can be. However, Lockie was optimistic that they could address the faults he saw today and was confident the Jambos would get a more positive result when St Johnstone visit Tynecastle in Tuesday night's re-arranged clash. "We stressed how important a good start was to the players, and to lose two poor goals was really disappointing and we'll be addressing those issues in training, and hopefully we'll see the difference on Tuesday night."
