Hearts make loan bid for Liverpool striker Michael NgooPublished on Wednesday 23 January 2013 11:09 HEARTS are understood to be making a bid to sign Liverpool striker Michael Ngoo on loan. • Hearts bid to sign Liverpool striker Michael Ngoo on loan • Strict transfer conditions may complicate negotiations for Anfield forward Manager John McGlynn is hoping to sign another Liverpool player following his loan acquisition of ex-Rangers centre-back Danny Wilson. But the Tynecastle outfit face competition from two rival clubs - believed to be from the Premier League and Championship divisions - for the 20-year-old’s signature. Moreover, any potential move is complicated by strict transfer conditions imposed on Hearts’ player recruitment. It stipulates that any players signed must be aged 21 or under, and must be cheaper than any corresponding departure. They must also operate under a one in-one out policy. Any deal with Liverpool would have to take into accuont wages departed goalkeeper Peter Enckelman had received. Ngoo has scored 15 times in 21 games for Liverpool’s U18s in 2010/2011, and is a regular fixture for the Anfield rerserves. Taken from the Scotsman |
