Enckelman leaves

Hearts today confirm that Peter Enckelman has left the club following the expiration of his contract.

The Finnish goalkeeper, capped at international level, joined the Jam Tarts in August 2012 on a six month deal following the long term injury suffered by Mark Ridgers.

Peter made one appearance in a Hearts shirt when he came on as a substitute in the 1-0 defeat to Celtic at Celtic Park in October, after Jamie Macdonald was stretchered off injured.

The club would like to thank Peter for his efforts during his short spell here in Gorgie, and wish him all the best for the future.

In other goalkeeping news, Jack Hamilton has extended his loan spell at Forfar until February 12th.
