Marian Kello
Uncharacteristically hesitant at times under the high ball, went off injured late on after being hurt in an aerial challenge with Akpo Sodje. 6/10
Jamie Hamill
Right-back put in an efficient and unfussy performance, linking up well down the flanks with his midfield. An impressive afternoon's work. 8
Danny Grainger
Continued his excellent start to his Tynecastle career with another committed shift. Great work rate, selfless attitude. 8
Andy Webster
Played a big part in Hearts' win at both ends, commanding the defence and scoring his team's second – or at least playing a big part in it with a strong header. 8
Marius Zaliukas
Poor communication with Kello on occasion, but is developing a good understanding with Webster. Second best at high balls too often. 6
Ian Black
Quieter than usual in a derby, which may well be a good thing as it was a sign of his ability to remain calm while opponents were losing their composure. 6
Ryan Stevenson
Booked early on but kept his nerve after that and played a crucial role in Hearts' midfield dominance. 8
Andrew Driver
Arguably his best game since making his comeback from injury. The winger's speed is returning, and his trickery is becoming more effective as a result. 7
Adrian Mrwowiec
Matures in the holding midfield role with every game. The manager may not know his entire first-choice 11, but he must have decided by now that Mrowiec is a vital part of it.. 7
David Obua
Won his share of balls in midfield, but was hampered by two injuries, the latter of which would see him stretchered off. 6
Stephen Elliott
Harried the Hibs defence all afternoon and was another who worked tirelessly for the cause. Unlucky not to score. 7
Substitutes
Eggert Jonsson
Made sure of Hearts' second goal after referee seemed unsure if Webster's header had crossed the line. 5
Arvydas Novikovas
Showed some sublime touches during the little time he had in which to shine. 4
Jamie MacDonald
Stood in for Kello for last five minutes after the No 1 keeper was injured. 3
