Falkirk fans want Yogi out before Hearts game

FALKIRK fans have demanded that John Hughes be sacked before tomorrow's game with Hearts.
In a letter to club chiefs, fans have demanded Yogi be axed as the Bairns – four points adrift at the bottom with just six games left – bid to avoid relegation.

Bairns Trust members have named former boss Alex Totten, current Falkirk defender and ex-Hearts skipper Steven Pressley, and youth chief Eddie May as suitable stand-ins.

The trust letter, addressed to chairman Campbell Christie and the board, said: "Following Saturday's result at Kilmarnock, Bairns Trust representatives have been in talks with fans and shareholders.

"It's the unanimous opinion of all those we spoke with, that Falkirk FC take decisive action this week, prior to Saturday's game with Hearts, to change the management. This has been suggested to protect the club's future. There are personnel available at the club who could take on responsibility for the first-team squad, including Steven Pressley, Eddie May and Alex Totten."

The letter added: "Should the board decide to take no action there will be protests before, during, or after Saturday's game with Hearts."
