Csaba Laszlo: I won't fine red-carded duoDec 28 2008 By Ewan Smith CSABA LASZLO last night insisted he won't fine red-card sinners Marius Zaliukas and Lee Wallace after Hearts' seven-game unbeaten run came crashing to a halt at Aberdeen. Stopper Zaliukas walked for an elbow on Dons defender Andrew Considine in 73 minutes while left-back Wallace was sent packing for a tunnel bust-up as tempers frayed after the game. The away dressing-room was also damaged and the pair are now set to miss next weekend's Edinburgh derby. But boss Laszlo (right) won't hit his sinning stars in the pocket. The Tynecastle gaffer said: "There were a lot of funny things happening and I'm more sorry for Lee's red card than anything else. "I don't know what happened. Maybe it's because the dressing-rooms are so close that there was a problem. "All I know is the referee came to our room and told Lee he was being sent off. "Players, especially young ones, show their emotions at times. So he won't be punished. I'm not thinking about punishing either of my players because they didn't kick anyone. "It gives us a problem for the derby but today is history and we move on." Meanwhile, Hearts skipper Christophe Berra admits he may not be around for Saturday's clash with Hibs. The defender is interesting clubs down south and could move for £3million when the transfer window opens. Berra said: "There has been a lot of speculation but until the club receives an offer they can't refuse I will give my best for Hearts." Taken from the Sunday Mail |
