Manager Q&A: Csaba Laszlo
Sep 1 2008
Q: Nine points from 12, you must be pleased.
A: We must get points. I can't forget the loss to Airdrie and this game was similar against a team just up from the First Division. They had spirit. I talked to my players about the spirit and the answer was there. It was not a lucky win. We always had the game in hand and scored the goals. I was sad about the last 10 minutes as we gave a chance to the opponents from nothing to score and this is a problem with a young team. Some boys think the game is over and can relax but you can't.
Q: Overall, were you happy with your team?
A: Kello was very good in goal. Berra and Zaliukas had quality in defence with two or three communications. Stewart and Karipidis had good games and we had a tactical change in the forwards. We changed Obua, Driver and Kingston all of the time and I think the team is there. We can't kick and run, we must play football. Mike always gave us a pulse and Berra and Zaliukas kept us together. The three points is the most important thing and we will work to get better.
Q: What about Driver's input?
A: I encourage him to go one on one and use his speed. Also, he must give a pass if someone is in better position. But sometimes I have the feeling he does not know how much talent he has and we need to encourage him.
