We'll go for it at Ibrox, says Hearts boss Laszlo

BARRY ANDERSON
CSABA LASZLO will order Hearts to go for the jugular at Ibrox tomorrow in the hope of compounding Rangers' misery and securing a precious away victory.
Whilst stressing that a draw would not be unsatisfactory, the Hearts manager insisted he will never set a team out to play for a point.

He is keen to increase momentum following last weekend's victory over Motherwell and believes Rangers' recent troubles make them vulnerable.

Ruben Palazuelos returns from suspension for Hearts and Slovakian goalkeeper Marian Kello is expected to make the squad after agreeing a season-long loan from FBK Kaunas yesterday. Laszlo revealed his tactics at Ibrox will centre around a bold attacking approach similar to that which secured the win against Motherwell.

"We would like to play the same game, we don't make any difference between Motherwell and Rangers. The difference is only that we play away," he told the Evening News.

"I appreciate and respect Motherwell and it's the same with Rangers. If you travel to play Rangers it's always extra motivation for the players, I don't think I will have to motivate them. If you take one point from an away match it is always a good result, but we will go to win. If we only take one point I will not be disappointed but I cannot prepare my team to draw. The target must be to win.

"It's a difficult game but we don't change our rules. We know Rangers are having a difficult time at the moment but we would like to go there and play the same football with the same tactics and try to win the match. After the game, maybe we will have a point. I don't like to play a nice game, I like to play a successful game. I want to win at Rangers."

Kello was due to arrive in Edinburgh today after playing in Kaunas' 2-0 Champions League qualifying defeat by Danish club Aalborg on Wednesday. He was also a key figure as the Lithuanians' eliminated Rangers in the previous round. "I saw this goalkeeper against Rangers twice and I think he is a talented goalkeeper and I am delighted to have signed him," said Laszlo.

"We are searching for a goalkeeper and he was one of our candidates. I think this goalkeeper has the quality to grow into the team. We now have the goalkeeper, David Obua and Mike Tullberg and our focus must be on always bringing in quality. All three players have quality.

"We are not just here to bring in players, we must search for good players. We have had luck with finding this goalkeeper and we are making good progress."

Hungarian goalkeeper Janos Balogh, meanwhile, has been dispatched back to Budapest despite believing he would sign a six-month loan deal with Hearts.

"The plan was to perhaps take him on loan for six months and see how he did but no decision has been made yet. We will look at the situation again after the game against Rangers," said Laszlo.
