HEARTS

Steve Banks: Aspectator for long spells and was never really tested. 6

Robbie Neilson: An assured performance. Hardly put a foot wrong. 7

Marius Zaliukas: Started nervously and passing was woeful but did improve. 6 Christophe Berra: Atypically no-nonsense display. 7

Lee Wallace: Looks cumbersome but burst forward and put in decent crosses. 6 Ruben Palazuelos: Quietly effective. 6

Michael Stewart: Normally the man to make Hearts tick but just never got going. 5

Laryea Kingston: First game for almost four months and showed only brief flashes of his capabilities. 6

Saulius Mikoliunas: Spent too much time on the periphery. 5

Deividas Cesnauskas: Hobbled off injured after only 14 minutes. 2

Calum Elliot: Passed up good early chance and never had a look in after that. 5

Subs
Audrius Ksanavicius - acquitted himself well, 6.
Jamie Mole - didn't get enough service to impress, 3.
Fernando Screpis - thrown on at death, 1.

FALKIRK

Robert Olejnik: Coped comfortably with anything that came his way. 6

Jack Ross: Steady and reliable. Nullified the threat of Mikoliunas. 7

Darren Barr: Rock solid in central defence. 7

Kenny Milne: Composed at the back and distributed the ball well. 6

Tam Scobbie:Close with a couple of longrange efforts. Gutsy box-to-box display. 7

Patrick Cregg: Neat and tidy and hardly wasted a pass all afternoon. 7

Gerard Aafjes:Aformidable barrier in defence. Booked for crunching Kingston. 6

Kevin McBride: Never looks rushed and always tried to find a pass even in a congested midfield. 6 Scott Arfield: Hearts couldn't get a hold on his surging midfield runs. 7 Graham Barrett: Covered plenty of ground but no end product. 6

Carl Finnigan: Some neat touches and linked play well although never looked like scoring. 6

Subs
