Ross Tokely:Agame plodder. Tried to play on front foot but Driver too pacy. 6

Phil McGuire: Day to forget as Elliot and Nade won battle between front and back. 5

Grant Munro: Outmuscled for once as Nade's power proved telling up front. 5

Richard Hastings: Little support further forward - had enough on defensive plate. 6

Ian Black: Started sprightly enough, but failed to develop into usual influence. 5

Russell Duncan: Never on the ball often enough to dictate for his team. 5

Don Cowie: On meagre rations as he tried to feed off Niculae striking scraps. 4

Markus Paatelainen:Aperipheral performer on left, hooked at half-time. 3

Marius Niculae: Left his side bankrupt of goals currency with two glaring misses. 5

Dougie Imrie: Sent in some telling deliveries from the left to no avail. 6

Subs: Dennis Wyness - on at half-time only to see Hearts kill game, 4. David Proctor - took Black's place as his side chased game late on, 2. Rory McAllister - got closing stages, 2.

Hearts

Steve Banks: Never really tested but good handling in difficult conditions. 7

Robbie Neilson: Back to old self again with solid display on right-hand side. 7

Christophe Berra: Firm leadership and organisation in heart of defence. 7

Christos Karipidis: Scorer hardly put a foot wrong to limit Caley Thistle chances. 7

Lee Wallace: Inverness looked lively down his side but improved after break. 6

Ruben Palazuelos: Rarely wasted pass and grows increasingly accomplished. 7

Eggert Jonsson: Midfield grafter not often on ball but still pressed hard. 6

Saulius Mikoliunas: Needs to hit goal-line more from wing but still lively. 6

Andrew Driver: His pace and left-wing delivery kept Caley Thistle on toes. 6

Christian Nade:Inverness had no answer to his power, pace and presence in attack. 8

Calum Elliot: Game intelligence shone through as partnership with Nade bore fruit.9

Subs:Kestutis Ivaskevicius - gave Driver deserved breather, 4. Fernando Screpis - on for debut with 15 minutes to go, 3. Ricardas Beniusis - late replacement for Nade, 3.
