TRANSFER NO.9 FOR HITMAN HAMMYBy Anthony Haggerty JIM HAMILTON completed the ninth transfer of his football career yesterday ... then joked he should be sponsored by Pickfords Removals. Dunfermline completed the signing of striker Hamilton from Motherwell on a two-year contract. The 30-year-old, who had a brief spell at East End Park in 2003, cost an undisclosed fee. Hamilton, who has also turned out for Highland side Keith, Dundee, Hearts, Aberdeen, Dundee United, Ross County and Livingston, said: "I have no idea why I've had so many transfers. "The number of houses I've had to move into I should be getting a sponsorship deal with Pickfords. "At the very least they should give me a Batphone - the removal men have become my best mates. "Luckily enough I don't have to move this time and that's good news because the wife and kids are getting sick of it. "I've never really settled down. Some players play at a club for 10 or 15 years and others, like me, keep moving. "I can't put my finger on why but whenever someone has wanted me I've had to go. "Maybe nobody likes me after a while. Having said that, Dunfermline isn't a new club so they must rate me. "They have one of the strongest squads on paper in the SPL but there has been a horrendous injury list of late. When everybody is fit we will hopefully start getting results." The Pars still want Aberdeen striker Stevie Crawford as well but are not interested in a swap deal for skipper Greg Shields.
