LE GUEN: We can get better

HOW PLEASED WERE YOU WITH THE RESULT AND PERFORMANCE AGAINST HEARTS?

It was a great performance from us. We got better and better as the match went on and every player performed well. I think we needed a display, and result, like Saturday after the two disappointing draws in the previous weeks.

KRIS BOYD SAID HE WOULD SCORE GOALS IF YOU PLAYED HIM - DID HIS PERFORMANCE PLEASE YOU?

I was very happy with his two goals but, nonetheless, I think he could be better. He must be more aware of his team-mates. Scoring goals is always the most important thing, but he can improve.

YOU CHANGED SYSTEM TO 4-4-2 - WILL YOU STICK WITH THAT NOW?

I wouldn't say that is the final conclusion with the system. We will see what our options are week to week. The most important thing is that the players do their jobs on the pitch, no matter what the formation. is

DOES THAT KIND OF PERFORMANCE SEND OUT A TITLE MESSAGE?

We are ready to fight with our rivals for the title. Last week was bad, this week it was good. I think we can get better, but it's good to see the team play in that fashion and I think we will be hard to beat if we perform like that.

THE PERFORMANCE OF DADO PRSO MUST HAVE DELIGHTED YOU?

He was possibly man of the match for me. Dado played very well, he was always willing and available. He won the penalty for us and, overall, he produced a high-level performance.

LEE MARTIN LIVED UP TO HIS BILLING WITH A GREAT DISPLAY?

He is very fast, he is different and he is a real winger. I do believe he can improve, be more efficient. But he runs all the time and his movements are superb. I knew about him, and Phil Bardsley who also did well on his debut after a nervous start, from a contact at Manchester United and I always try to follow young players. It was a good option for us, and for them, to come here and play games.

YOUR FIRST CLEAN SHEET OF THE SEASON MUST HAVE PLEASED YOU?

The defence did better. It's good for confidence, but we can work on things again this week.
