YOGI BAN WARNING

FALKIRK boss John Hughes has seven days to appeal his two-match touchline ban.

The SFA have written to Hughes, warning him about his conduct after he was sent to the stand at half-time during Saturday's 0-0 draw with Hearts.

He won't be in the Bairns dugout for SPL games with Motherwell on August 26 and Rangers two weeks later unless he challenges referee John Underhill's decision.

Hughes was sent off after confronting Hearts strikers Roman Bednar and Michal Pospisil as they left the field after an incident involving Falkirk defender Kenny Milne.

SFA disciplinary chief Drew Herbertson said: "A two-match suspension will be imposed, starting a week on Saturday, unless he wishes to contest this.

"If we receive an application, we will refer the matter to the Disciplinary Committee. He has seven days to send us a letter."
