How Hearts ratedJAMES PORTEOUS August 03 2006 Craig Gordon That Hearts left Bosnia with a clean sheet was due in large part to their goalkeeper. First half: one magnificent and one decent save from long-range Karoglan strikes. Second half: excellent instinctive block of Celson's 10-yard effort and got behind late strike from Erceg 9 Robbie Neilson Long throws from the right wing were a threat as always and he looked reasonably comfortable with his defensive duties. Somewhat surprising he was replaced 6 Steven Pressley The customary committed, full-blooded, occasionally clumsy display 6 Christophe Berra Another assured performance from the youngster, who is rapidly helping Hearts supporters forget all about Andy Webster 7 Takis Fyssas Badly beaten in the first half to give Siroki a chance, otherwise composed 6 Deividas Cesnauskis Frustrating as ever, conceding possession by attempting to beat one man too many 5 Julien Brellier Customary tidy display; amazingly, did not pick up his customary yellow card 6 Bruno Aguiar Fairly quiet, not least because Hearts often bypassed midfield 6 Neil McCann First-half corner palmed in by keeper, ruled out for a foul. Otherwise anonymous 5 Roman Bednar One free-kick saved in the sixth minute, but little service, no chances 5 Michal Pospisil As above apart from the free-kick 5 Substitutes Ibrahim Tall (for Neilson 61) Somewhat odd substitution from Valdas Ivanauskas. Did have one chance, penalised for foul 5 Saulius Mikoliunas (for McCann 61) Replace one anonymous winger with another with, unsurprisingly, much the same lack of results 5 Mirsad Beslija (for Cesnauskis 84) He does exist!
