MIKO: WE'LL GO FOR THE KILL

By Gavin Berry

SAULIUS MIKOLIUNAS insists Hearts will try to bury Champions League rivals Siroki Brijeg in the second leg rather than sit on their three-goal lead.

Only a major collapse in Bosnia on Wednesday would see the Jambos fail to set up a third-round qualifier against Greek cracks AEK Athens.

But Miko (left), who came on as a sub in the 3-0 first leg win at Murrayfield, said: "We will not sit on this result. We will play the way we did at Murrayfield by attacking and being positive.

"It was a good result but we can't think we're already through. That would be dangerous.

"If we can score one goal it would probably be enough to see us qualify." The Lithuanian reckons Murrayfield gives wide players like himself a chance to be more expressive.

He said: "Tynecastle is good because the crowd is near you and you can hear everything the supporters shout.

"But the fans did well at Murrayfield and the other benefit is the pitch is bigger and there is more space to play.

"Siroki made it tough and we were getting nervous the longer the game was goalless. But scoring the first goal relaxed us.

"Then the second and third goals gave us a cushion.

"We just need to keep going now and should get fitter and more confident with every game.

"Personally, it would be great to play from the start but we have a lot of great players and I just need to show I can play."
