NORWAY WHISTLER IS HANDED HEARTS TIECHAMPIONS LEAGUE CRUNCH... HEARTS will have a Norwegian referee in charge when they make their Champions League debut tomorrow. Espen Bernsten will handle the tie against Bosnian outfit Siroki Brijeg in the first leg of the second qualifying round at Murrayfield. The 39-year-old FIFA-listed official has experience of refereeing British club in Europe. He was in charge of Middlesbrough's win over Grasshoppers in season's UEFA Cup Finaland took charge of Newcastle's win over Dinamo Tblisi in the same competition two years ago. Hearts yesterday revealed that they havesoldmore than 20,000 tickets for the game and it is thought that figure could rise to 25,000. A spokesperson said: "Attracting advance sales in excess of 20,000 for this game shows just how much potential Hearts have to grow into a truly top European club."
