Thomson to go on loanMARK BONTHRONE PROMISING Hearts defender Jason Thomson has agreed to join Livingston on a season-long loan deal next term. The right-back, who was handed his first team debut for the Jambos by current Lions boss John Robertson when he was in charge at Tynecastle, failed to feature at all last season due to the impressive form of Robbie Neilson. The previous season he made three appearances for the Gorgie side, the first of which came in a 2-0 home defeat by Inverness Caley Thistle in March last year. The 18-year-old also started matches against Hibs and Dundee United in that campaign. "This is the right move for Jason," said Hearts head coach Valdas Ivanauskas. "He will get very good experience playing for Livingston with Robbo. This is far better for him than playing for our reserves." Taken from the Scotsman |
