Hearts Friends and Family seats sold outCOLLEEN PATERSON HEARTS' Friends and Family season tickets have been snapped up a full ten days before the deadline for fans to renew their seats. The Tynecastle club offered existing season ticket holders the chance to purchase a seat alongside a friend or relative for the new campaign, but the scheme has proved so popular that it has already reached its limit of 1000. Now the only way for non- season ticket holders to get their hands on a ticket for the new campaign is by joining the club's new priority waiting list. The club will contact fans when tickets become available although this is unlikely to be before Monday, June 12. Well over half of the existing season ticket holders have renewed for next term and the club are urging the remaining few to purchase before the June 2 deadline. A spokesperson for the club said: "We are keen that fans don't miss out on renewing their season tickets before next Friday's deadline. Demand for renewals has been strong and any tickets that are available after the renewal period will be released to those on our new priority waiting list." Meanwhile, Norwegian side Stabaek will have to wait until Michal Pospisil returns from honeymoon to find out if he is ready to quit Tynecastle. The Czech frontman still has two years remaining on his Hearts contract but was invited over to Norway to watch Stabaek's 2-2 draw with Lillestrom on Sunday. However, he left without agreeing a move and Stabaek director of football, Tom Schelvan, said: "Michal came over to watch our game and we are not really sure what is going to happen now. We will not be able to speak to him again until he returns from honeymoon. We also have to see if Hearts are willing to let the player go." Despite featuring in just three games for Hearts this season, striker Juho Makela has been called into the Finland squad to face Sweden in Gothenburg tomorrow night. Taken from the Scotsman |
