POSPISIL SET FOR NORWAY MOVEHEARTS striker Michal Pospisil could be set for a shock move to Norwegian side Stabaek. The Czech hitman travelled to Norway at the weekend to meet chairman Einar Schultz and he is expected to seal a move this week. The 27-year-old has struggled to hold down a regular position at Tynecastle after being signed by former manager George Burley. He failed to impress Graham Rix and also stand-in boss Valdas Ivanauskas. Pospisil's lack of first-team action ruined his chances of appearing for his country in the World Cup. And now he is ready to try his luck in Norway as Hearts prepare to bring in more big-name summer signings. Schultz said: "We had a meeting here with Pospisil before he went back to the Czech Republic. He is getting married on Saturday. I am sure he will have a lot to think about in the next week." Director of football Tom Schelvan added: "We have been to Scotland to watch Michal play and the player must be interested in us as he came to visit us a week before he gets married. "Michal was wanted by us in the last transfer window. He is a very good striker." Stabaek currently lie in fifth place in the Norwegian Tippeligaen. Taken from the Daily Record |
