Skacel in dark over Hearts future ANGUS WRIGHT RUDI Skacel is unclear what his future holds after again being omitted from the Hearts starting line-up on Saturday, according to reports in his native Czech Republic. Skacel is the Edinburgh outfit's top scorer this season, but he was dismayed after learning he would not be in the team to face Dunfermline, just days after being on the bench for the defeat at Celtic. "Nobody explained anything to me, I feel strange about this," the 26-year-old told Czech newspaper Daily Sport. "I did not play last Wednesday, they said I was tired and needed a rest before the important matches. I am disappointed because I am perfectly fit." Skacel admitted he did not know where he would be playing next season. "I will probably not return to Marseille," he said. • Hearts have been allocated an initial block of 30,800 tickets for the Scottish Cup final, but will be offered more if necessary. Gretna have been given 6,900 briefs for the game on 13 May, but that could rise to over 10,000 if there is sufficient demand from fans. Taken from the Scotsman |
