HIBEES KIDS WILL HAVE TO TAKE HEARTS FORMER Hibs star Kevin Harper would love to see Tony Mowbray's side win the Scottish Cup but fears Hearts' experience could seal today's semi-final showdown. The Stoke City winger still takes a keen interest in the SPL and the Hibees in particular. But he believes the Tynecastle men have the edge going into the crunch Hampden tie. Harper said: "All I hear about now is Hibs' young kids and Hearts' Lithuanian millionaire. "Both teams are evenly matched but it's about how Hibs' kids cope with the day. "Hearts have the advantage with their experience but the Hibs boys will want to show they can handle it. "I'd love to have played in a Hibs side like today's. Inmyday the next youngest player was Gordon Hunter. The side was full of experienced pros. "Scottish football has changed so much and it's getting back to a really good level because of the talented youngsters coming through." Taken from the Sunday Mail |
