Mission possible as Dougray sets alarm for Cup derby showdown FILM star Dougray Scott will rely on an early-morning alarm call before he can catch the action from tomorrow's crunch Scottish Cup semi-final between Hibs and Hearts. For the Scots actor, a devoted Hibs fan, is filming in Los Angeles, which is eight hours behind British Summer Time. And with the Hampden showdown kicking off at lunchtime, the Mission Impossible 2 and Enigma star will have to set his alarm and watch the crunch match on TV. A spokeswoman said Scott was planning to watch the match from the Californian coast. He is currently shooting 16-hour days on Heist, a new NBC programme in the US. Two screen stars much closer to home who support the two Capital sides will be prevented from attending the match because of their own busy schedules. Filming the latest installment of Ian Rankin's Inspector Rebus series will prevent Hearts fan Ken Stott cheering on the Jambos - despite being in Glasgow at the time of the match. "He's in the city filming but the schedule is such that he won't be able to make the game," said a spokeswoman. Fellow actor Ray Winstone, a Hibs follower, will be filming an ITV television drama in Manchester - and has no time to visit Glasgow for the game. But veteran rock star Fish hopes that taking lucky Heather to Hampden on Sunday can help spur Hibs to Scottish Cup glory. The ex-Marillion frontman has transformed his new girlfriend Heather into a huge Hibees fan since they met four months ago and she has proved to be something of a good luck charm for Tony Mowbray's men. He said: "My girlfriend is travelling up from York to go to the game with me. I've been with her for four months and in that time I've managed to turn her into a Hibs fan, she's a mad Hibby now. She's been at every cup game apart from the Rangers game because we were in London. But every game she's been at we have won and as her name is Heather, I've been calling her my lucky white heather!" Radio Forth presenter Grant Stott will also be at the game. He said: "I'm going through to Glasgow on Saturday as I'm appearing as a guest on Radio Scotland's Off The Ball." Edinburgh Pentlands MSP David McLetchie, the former Scottish Tory leader and a Hearts season ticket holder, said: "I have got a couple of tickets for the West Stand and will be going with my son."
