JAMBOS MUST BE KINGS OF CASTLEBy Ian Orr ROBBIE NEILSON insists it's vital Hearts win all their home games if they are to challenge for the SPL title The 25-year-old says maintaining their 100 per cent record at Tynecastle is key for George Burley's men as theybid to stay ahead of the Old Firm. Hearts are five points clear at the top of the table and are expected to notch their seventh victory when they visit Inverness Caley on Saturday. But Neilson said: "We are not getting too excited. We know it's a long season. We just have to win every game which is the hard part. "Home games should take care of themselves. We should be winning all of them. "Going away from home is difficult. Inverness is make or break for us. "If we can go up there and take three points that's a real victory"I've been here a long time but I've never heard of Hearts having a start like this. "We just need to keep it going. We need to win every week if we want to push ourselves as far as we can go. "I've been on runs with Hearts before when we've won four or five games in a row. "But then you go and lose a few and you're back to square one. "We must concentrate on this weekend and getting the three points." Hearts dumped Livingston 4-1 last weekend but Neilson believes the team are not the finished article yet. The Paisley-born player said: "We were pleased with our performance. "We started off very well but then they got the goal back before half-time which gave them a lift. "We got a bit sloppy towards the end but I think the game was won by then." Ibrahim Tall's arrival has meant Neilson has a fight on his hands to keep his place. But, having been giving the right-back role at Almondvale, he says he is relishing the competition. Neilson said: "I'm happy. I didn't have the greatest of games but the team won and that's the main thing. I just need to keep working away. It's always good to have people challenging. "It improves you as a player and keeps you on your toes. Meanwhile, Jambos fans face a scramble for tickets for the Inverness game this morning with only 800 briefs going on public sale Hearts took a support of 6000 to Almondvale to see their side notch up their sixth consecutive win. Such is the massive interest in the club this season that 4000 crossed the country to Rugby Park to seem them take on Kilmarnock. And more than5000 turned up at Tannadice for their game against Dundee United. For this weekend's game the Gorgie outfit were forced to use a ballot system for the first time for an away match against anyone other than the Old Firm or Hibs. A total of 1500 briefs from their allocation of 2300 were snapped up by season-ticket holders. The rest go on public sale from 10am today, priced £20 for adults and £15 for concessions. Inverness have been told they will not be able to field on-loan Hearts striker Dennis Wyness this weekend. The28-year-old has been banned from playing against his employers. The former Caley Thistle player returned north on loan last month after falling out of the picture at Tynecastle following the influx of foreign talent. However, he will not be allowed to got back and haunt the Tynecastle side on Saturday because of the deal struck between the clubs. The Highlanders' director of football Graeme Bennett said: "The agreement we have with Hearts is that Dennis will not play against them when we meet. |
