Hearts force Wyness outIAIN COLLIN INVERNESS Caledonian Thistle have been told that they will not be allowed to play on-loan striker Dennis Wyness in this weekend's Premierleague match with league leaders Hearts. Wyness returned to the Highland club for a second spell last month after falling well down the pecking order at Tynecastle following manager George Burley's influx of foreign talent. The 28-year-old's loan deal, however, included a clause which prevents him appearing against Hearts. "The agreement we have with Hearts is that Dennis will not play against them when we meet," said Inverness director of football Graeme Bennett ahead of Saturday's clash at Caledonian Stadium. Hearts supporters will this morning face a ticket scramble for the game after it was announced 800 briefs will go on public sale at 10am today. The Gorgie club were given a 2,300 allocation for the longest trip in the division and, after taking over 4,000 fans to Rugby Park, 5,000 to Tannadice and 6,000 to Livingston, Tynecastle officials expect the remaining briefs to be snapped up quickly. Meanwhile, Hearts' new defender Ibrahim Tall had to come off at half-time after sustaining a groin strain in the 0-0 draw with Livingston reserves yesterday. Burley's other recent recruit, Samuel Camazzola, played the full 90 minutes. Taken from the Scotsman |
