MAN BY MANCompiled By David Mccarthy LIVINGSTON Roddy McKenzie 6 Couldn't be blamed for any of goals as Hearts kept coming at him in waves. Scott Boyd 6 Kid toiled initially against free-moving Jambos but settled in as game went on. Dave Mackay 6 Forced fine save from Gordon but spent most of his time defending desperately. Manu Dorado 6 Didn't stop running or tackling but like rest of team was overwhelmed in first half. Richard Brittain 5 Booked for early foul on Skacel and had work cut out with Czech all afternoon. Gabor Vincze 5 Tried to put himself about and get on ball but found it difficult. Derek Adams 6 Supposed to be operating behind strikers but forced back for long spells. Neil Barrett 4 Booked for a foul on Skacel and gave away second-half penalty. Jason Dair 4 Tried to get up and down left but failed to make much of an impression. Graham Barrett 7 Pick of the Livi bunch. Great free-kick hit bar and another led to goal. Paul Dalglish 6 Snapped up first chance but should have scored again when clear through. Substitites: James McPake - Battled gamely, 4. Martin Scott - Booked for wrestling with Bednar, 3. Robert Snodgrass - Got last 20 minutes but game was lost by then - 3HEARTS Craig Gordon 7 Didn't hold free-kick that led to goal but made a couple of good saves. Robbie Neilson 6 Very strong defensively and pushed up when he could - which was often. Steven Pressley 7 Strong and powerful in air where he dominated Livi frontline. Andy Webster 7 Left unmarked for his goal and took full advantage. Defensively, rarely ruffled. Takis Fyssas 7 Looks a fine acquisition. Good left foot and forging understanding with Skacel. Jamie McAllister 7 Passed ball well and made fair share of tackles. Free-kick led to Webster goal. Julien Brellier 6 Couple of misplaced early passes but played midfield anchor role well. Paul Hartley 8 Smashing display capped by goal. Full of energy and invention. Rudi Skacel 7 Another game, another goal and a super show. Edgar Jankauskas 7 A real threat and always bringing others into play. Roman Bednar 7 Physical and quick. Deserved a goal. Substitutes: Stephen Simmons: Didn't do much wrong, 4. Lee Wallace: Played a couple of good passes, 2. Deividas Cesnauskis - Got five-minute cameo, 1Moment that change the game: Hearts looked like certain winners from the moment Rudi Skacel made it six goals in as many games, leaving Livingston still searching for their first league victory ![]() Taken from the Daily Record |
