Elvis looks to make returnMARK BONTHRONE HEARTS captain Steven Pressley looks to be winning his fitness battle ahead of Kilmarnock’s visit to Tynecastle tomorrow afternoon, boss Craig Levein has revealed. Pressley has been out of action since the Capital derby last month when he was forced to limp out of the game with a thigh injury. In his absence the Jambos have crashed to four consecutive defeats but he could be in line to give them a timely boost by returning tomorrow. "Elvis did a wee bit on Wednesday and trained yesterday so we will just have to wait and see how he is after that," said Levein. "I am quite positive about his chances." There was not such good news on top goalscorer Mark de Vries, however. The Dutchman has yet to resume training because of a hamstring problem and was due to be assessed ahead of today’s session. Levein said: "Mark hasn’t done any work this week so far and while I’m always hopeful, it isn’t any more than hoping at the moment." Craig Gordon, Scott Severin and Andy Webster all reported back to Tynecastle fully fit after the Scotland Future game against Turkey in midweek. |
