Hearts pounds 3/4 m triple swoop
Hearts boss Jim Jefferies last night completed an amazing pounds 750,000 triple signing coup.
The Jambos snapped up Wales and Norwich star Jeremy Goss, Dundee winger Neil McCann and Falkirk defender David Weir.
And Jeff then vowed there's still more to come.
He's already targeted Norwegian international striker Egil Ostenstad.
The 24-year-old Viking Stavanger ace is out of contract in October and Jeff is keen to bring him to Scotland.
Hearts, who launch their European Cup-Winners' Cup adventure next Thursday against Red Star Belgrade in Yugoslavia, are desperate that mega-spending Rangers and Celtic don't have it all their own way next season.
And Jeff admitted: "The Old Firm have signed many quality players and it's going to be difficult. But we did well last season and I'm confident we can build on that success."
The Jefferies revolution has already seen keeper Craig Nelson and Brian Hamilton leave for Falkirk as part of the Weir deal.
Now Neil Berry could follow them to Brockville while Stuart Callaghan is set to join Dundee.
Goss, McCann and Weir will make their debuts in tonight's Tynecastle friendly against crack Portuguese outfit FC Porto - who stuffed Liverpool 2-0 on Saturday.
