Why nominated | In his time Bobby Walker was universally known as the "Greatest footballer in the world". I believe he died in poverty and was buried at merchiston cemetery edinburgh. I have scoured the grave stones in the cemetery which has fallen into disrepair but can't find his grave which is a tragedy and a disgrace to Heart of Midlothian Football Club. I would be grateful to anyone who can give me information about this great man as I would wish to collate it and bring his story to present day Jambos possibly in the form of a programme or fanzine article |
