Question Answer

Player Nominated

Gary Naysmith

Nominated By

John Findlay

Where Do You Live

Lovedean Hants

Why nominated

Because at the tender age of seventeen this laddie proved he could mix it with the best when plunged into a League Cup quarter final against Celtic at Tynecastle and came through with flying colours.

Memorable Games

Above mentioned quarter final, helped to keep a clean sheet in a very much makeshift defence. Along with one(one game) Andy Thorn was immense in both defence and attack that night. Scottish Cup final. Immense once again for a nineteen year old. Last season against Rangers. Although on a losing side 1-2. Still showed The media darling Barry Ferguson a clean pair of heels when setting up Gary McSwegan which borught out the save of the season from Stefan(correct spelling?) Klos.

Other Comments

Bloody scandalous at being sold for only £1.75M. He is worth double that, as proving against Croatia on Wednesday night.
Thank you Gary for your 100% committment to the Hearts always.
Good luck and all the best at Everton. Here's hoping your the same hit there as the great Alex Young. John
