Player Nominated | Neil McCann |
Nominated By | Andy Roberts |

Why nominated | He was the spark that is currently missing from the side. If we were struggling to break down a defence he invariably created a few openings with his pace and trickery. There are periods in recent games that I have called McCann moments ie: we're playing the ball out of defence and suddenly run out of ideas, that's when we used to give the ball to Neil. |
Memorable Games | The obvious one is the 4-3 cup final v Rangers where he was absolutely immense. But I particularly remember a late winner 1-0 v Hibs near the end of the 96/97 season which typified his ability to open up defences in tight games. |
Other Comments | It pains me to see his talents being wasted with sporadic appearances at planet Ibrox. |
